About the event

Is there such a thing as Jewish Mindfulness? Since "Mindfulness" has become a buzzword over the past years, Jews have turned to their own tradition in search of their roots of mindfulness -- often waiting in plain sight. In this workshop, through exploring texts and rituals, and by tasting a couple of contemplative practices, we will (re)discover how everyday Jewish practice offers us tools for full presence, intention, gratitude and benevolence.  As we are celebrating  Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, what better way to (re)connect to our inner light so we can better shine it, from within and out! The workshop comprises text study, guided and silent meditation practice, sharing and a time for questions and answers.
