FED Shabbat

We are excited for Lisa Huberman to facilitate this Shabbat experience!

Lisa Huberman is a storyteller, playwright, educator, and Jewish art nerd who was raised by vegans in Ohio and now lives in Astoria, Queens. In her work, Lisa uses art, humor, ritual—and often food—to create space for complex narratives and build empathy among people from different backgrounds.  She is an artist-in-residence with the Queens-based theatre group Mission to (dit)Mars, and has developed Jewish arts programming through Malkhut, The Wandering Jews of Astoria, Free Synagogue of Flushing and Commonpoint Queens. Lisa has studied at SVARA, Hadar, The Jewish Theological Seminary, Drisha, and is currently pursuing Maggid Ordination with Rabbi David and Debra Zaslow in Ashland, Oregon. https://www.lisahuberman.com/
