FED INTERNSHIP

Seeking community-minded, entrepreneurial individuals to serve as FED interns for the 2021-22 school year!

FED Internship Opportunity

About Us:

FED: Tanour (Oven) is a nonprofit organization that believes that Judaism is a powerful force inspiring creativity, inclusivity and connection. For hundreds of years, communal ovens in Jewish villages and shtetls from Poland to Morocco have served as a central gathering point for a vibrant communal exchange, where recipes and stories were swapped and cooperation strengthened. In modern times, urban isolation and loneliness are on the rise. FED: Tanour returns to reclaim the spirit of our ancestral communal oven as a platform for ideas and art. Building on Jewish holidays, experiences, and values such as hospitality, diversity, and dialogue, we foster an active rather than passive approach to creativity and to Judaism, encouraging collaboration and connection between our members.
