Ivan Dalia Live!

By popular demand, Ivan Dalia returns to FED! He will perform historical and modern songs with global rhythms, originating from the Land of the Melody (Italy), his home country. The performance (1 hour 20 minute run time) will be followed by a special reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres.

"Humanity for me is the most interesting theme that exists. I use song as a way to talk about it. In Europe, we say that the land of the melody is Italy. It has everything from the traditional song, to the lyric opera, to the modern song, rearranged with rhythms from South to North America. The songs are connected to history, and I’m going to introduce them each with a little funny tale. The Italian people have mixed within them many, many nationalities. They moved around a lot, especially in America, and that’s why the famous song, "Mambo Italiano," was born. Come hear me perform it, and others!" - Ivan Dalia
