Revelation on Shavuot: Transition and Transformation, Year-Round

The time period between Passover and Shavuot is one of transition and transformation. On Passover, we mark the story of the birth of our people, and on Shavuot we mark the covenant and revelation between God and the Israelites. What are models of growth and change that we can learn from the story of the Israelite journey and experience with God? How does this time of year serve to remind the potential in each of us to welcome and work toward newness and expansion in our own lives?

Abby Eisenberg is an independent Jewish educator and life cycle officiant, based in NYC. She and her team at Judaics Tutoring NYC work with curious learners around the globe of all ages and stages. Abby is passionate about co-creating Jewish learning and living experiences that are rigorously rooted in tradition and deeply meaningful for each 21st century learner. Abby has a BA in history from Yeshiva University and an MA in Judaic studies from The Jewish Theological Seminary. When she is not immersed Jewish text, she is planning a hike (or on a hike) in the Hudson Highlands, Catskills or Yosemite.
