About the event
In the Bible itself, there are only allusions to afterlife, but over time our ancestors' notions of life-after-death expanded far and wide. Join us for lively (yes, lively!) interactive conversation to explore the ways that rabbis and philosophers imagined afterlife experiences while consistently - over 2000+ years - affirming the Torah’s edict to “choose life.” (Deuteronomy, fifth book of Torah, chapter 30, verse 19).
Abby Eisenberg is an independent Jewish educator and lifecycle officiant with over 20 years of experience in Jewish education. Abby and her talented team of educators work with curious learners of all ages and stages to help them expand their knowledge of all things Jewish while deepening their connection to Jewish text, history, and practice in ways that are uniquely meaningful to each of them.
